I hope that you are all enjoying the holiday with your families and didn't eat toooooo many Easter eggs!
There are two things which I would like you all to do during the break: 1. Talk to your grandparents and/or older family members. > Ask them to tell you what they know/remember about the World War/s. ANZAC Day is coming up in the first week back, it would be good to be able to share our family histories.
>Ask them about their childhood and school days. What they did in the weekends, after school, the holidays; toys; how did they get to school; what was school like then; what do they especially remember about their grandparents? Our next topic/theme is celebrating history and looking particularly towards our school and community as next year HNP will be 150 years old.
2. The second 'thing' is very minor! Please would you collect/save the plastic top from aerosol spray cans? Any colour - preferably a reasonable size rather than a deodorant size. I'm not telling you what these are for.... yet!
Take care and have fun! BUT ... A-B-C !!! :) ~ Mrs Wong
This is my dog called Poppy - she is playing around with a huge stick! Alex shared with us about how special Poppy is. She is very special because they got her from the SPCA in Auckland. Then the family took her back to England with them when they moved back there. When Alex and his family moved backt to New Zealand to live, Poppy came, too, in an aeroplane - but not with them in the seats!
